Zenostar Sets the Bar in Dental Technology!
Another primary material utilized at Lande Lab is Wieland Dental’s Zenostar zirconia. Suitable for both individual tooth restorations, large-span bridges, and implant abutments, the Zenostar material offers superior flexural strength (1200-1400 MPa) needed to withstand the ever increasing demands of dental technicians and clinicians. The material offers superior anti-ageing durability and is designed to be free of breaks or chips. Zenostar is suitable for monolithic restorations but is also appropriate as a framework material. Monolithic restoration are zirconia milled to full contour, these work great for bruxers and it’s a cheaper option to replace full cast crowns. When used as a framework, porcelain is layered atop of the zirconia substructure similar to a porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) crown. Although compared to PFM, a zirconia framework is much stronger and because it’s an all ceramic material it allows for a more esthetically pleasing restoration than your standard PFM.
